Semiconductor Accessories
Columbia-Staver make a full range of accessories that ensure the design quality of its heat sinks is continued through into the final processes of assembly and mounting.
Clips
A wide variety of clips are available to ensure the secure mounting of the most popular transistors and integrated circuits onto a range of Columbia-Staver’s heat sinks, as detailed in the selector guide. These versatile clips cover most standard applications whilst Columbia-Staver’s unique custom service will originate clips for use in specialised areas.
Thermosil 300
Thermosil 300 is an elastomer made from silicone-impregnated fibreglass fabric, offering without compromise both excellent thermal conductivity and electrical isolation, presented in an assortment of standard shapes, or to any dimensions a customer specifies. The pliable material creates a degree of surface contact equal to that of mica or grease, and yet avoids their familiar failings: Thermosil 300 is clean to use, it stays exactly where it is wanted, and can be accurately positioned in seconds.
Pillars, Stand-offs and Spacers
Pillars, Stand-offs and Spacers provide the framework for a heat sink assembly. Columbia-Staver make a complete range of sizes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and in plastics, another instance of the corporate will to construct without compromise or restriction the best heat transfer system for any given environment.
